Welcome to the Lawrence Soccer Club. We know you share our excitement that all of our children have the opportunity to participate in the fastest growing sport in America. Our league is proud to be affiliated with the Indiana Youth Soccer Association. 

The LSC maintains the original qualities we started with over 40 years ago:

• Open Registration - If your child is registered - your child plays!
• Positive Coaching - Coaching is a privilege, not a right. We expect coaches to respect their players at all times and offer only positive encouragement, reinforcement, and mentoring.
• Balanced Teams - We strive to form equal teams - to encourage fair games and a good experience for all.
• Good Sportsmanship - We expect all participants to exhibit the highest level of conduct on and off the field. This applies not only to our youth athletes, but equally to our parents and coaches. We cannot expect our children to be good sports if we are not!
• Everyone Plays - All children will play at least half the game.

At LSC we are firmly committed to these values. And we lead the way to insure our 1200+ players per year receive the benefits that these values provide to our participants.
 

Our U6 through U10 age divisions (boys and girls) play Rec soccer.  All games in these age groups will be played against other LSC teams in that same division and on our home soccer fields at all times. With the U10 division having a tournament at the end of the season.

Our U12 through U19 age divisions (boys, girls, and co-ed) play "Rec Plus" soccer - through a modified travel league known as North Central Recreational Soccer League (NCRSL). NCRSL is a confederation of Indianapolis and Central Indiana area soccer clubs providing a place for young men and women to continue playing the game without the pressures associated with select travel programs. Away games will be against similar teams within, at the most, a one-hour drive of Lawrence. Please carefully consider this commitment before enrolling your son or daughter. 

LSC also boasts one of the strongest youth referee programs in the country and we are continuing to strengthen this vital part of our program. This is an area of special importance because it allows the more experienced to assist the newer referees as they develop. Give special consideration to treating our youth referees with special respect. We encourage you to get involved here and volunteer to become a mentor. 

We also want to take this opportunity to offer special recognition to the sponsors who graciously contributed to offset ever-increasing league costs. Consider supporting businesses that really care about your kids. Sponsorship is always a challenge and the league is in desperate need of help for the upcoming seasons with raising corporate and individual sponsor participation. Please contact any board member with suggestions or more importantly to volunteer some time to raising sponsorships. 

LSC is a totally volunteer organization and it is an expectation that every parent will contribute to at least one volunteer activity - each of which are vital to keeping our player fees reasonable and a league this large functioning.
